“My work is an act of storytelling that combines paint, pencil, photographs, collage, text and found objects. I merge real and imagined narratives in an ongoing search for links between life’s contradictions and dualities. My mixed media drawings and collages capture the experiences and emotions we share collectively as human beings but often experience in isolation. Layers of fact and fiction are built up slowly and intuitively, repeatedly added then partially erased, capturing personal history with intimate honesty.”
